Barbara & Justin’s Wedding at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Brattleboro, Vermont
Some weddings hold an extra special place in your heart, and Barbara and Justin’s day will always be one of those for me. Not only was this beautiful celebration the very first wedding I ever photographed, but Barbara also happens to be one of my best friends. Her trust in me to capture such an important day meant the world.
Barbara and Justin’s story feels like something out of a movie. They were high school sweethearts who reconnected years later, only to discover that their love had never truly faded. Watching them exchange vows surrounded by family and friends felt like witnessing a beautiful full circle moment filled with love rediscovered and stronger than ever.
Their wedding took place on August 20th, 2022, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Brattleboro, Vermont. The venue was filled with laughter, happy tears, and the kind of joy that lingers long after the music fades. Barbara looked radiant in her gown from Pamela Moore Bridals, and her elegant hairstyle by Jen Wood of Studio 20 Hair Salon, both located in downtown Brattleboro, completed her timeless bridal look.
Every detail of their day reflected who they are, warm, down to earth, and deeply connected. It was the perfect way to begin my journey with wedding photography, and I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful start.
To this day, I’m endlessly grateful that Barbara believed in me before I even believed in myself. Her wedding not only celebrated a lifelong love story but also sparked my own passion for capturing the heartfelt stories of others.
